Information for Referring Medical Providers

Pacific Center for Neurostimulation is a private outpatient clinic in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle that specializes in the treatment of psychiatric disorders with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).  Patients who are referred to us for TMS will continue their ongoing relationship with their current clinicians throughout their course of TMS treatment.  All decisions regarding medication management and treatment are made in conjunction with the referring psychiatrist or healthcare provider.  Patients undergoing TMS will be encouraged to continue seeing their primary clinicians and to continue psychotherapy, if applicable, during their TMS course.  Patients will return to the care of their current clinicians upon completion of their TMS treatments.

Our clinic has three board-certified, TMS-certified psychiatrists and two masters-level mental health practitioners who work closely together as a team.  Open communication with the patient’s primary psychiatrist or healthcare provider is of utmost importance to us.  Referring clinicians will receive frequent updates from our team, as well as immediate alerts to any acute patient concerns.

All TMS sessions are monitored by our trained TMS Clinicians or one of our psychiatrists. All of our TMS Clinicians are masters-level mental health practitioners who have additional training in supportive psychotherapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.  Brief, time-limited during treatment sessions are meant to be complementary to the patient's ongoing therapy and treatment with their primary mental health providers.

To discuss TMS in further detail with one of our psychiatrists, or to inquire if a patient is a good candidate, please contact us or download this referral form and fax to us at (206) 356-1151.  We will return your inquiry within one business day.
